In need of a break from COVID-19? Do you want to talk to other parents who understand you? Do you want to cry because you just can't take it anymore?
Join us for drinks, pre-packaged snacks & fun conversation from 7-9 p.m (while maintaining your distance or masked appropriately). If we cannot keep 2 meters apart, let's stay safe and wear our masks.
Our first in-person event since things shut down due to COVID-19 will be held at our veteran West POM Members' Helen and Joel backyard! In respect of the current restrictions on outdoor gatherings we're asking those interested to RSVP and for participants to wear masks (in the event we have more than 8 participants and 2 meter physical distancing can't be maintained). All parents are welcome: moms, dads, primary or secondary caregivers, both! Not-yet-mobile babies are also welcome to attend at parental discretion.
West POM members find our POM socials to be an incredibly valuable part of their membership. They offer an opportunity to connect with other parents of multiples to share ideas, information, concerns and questions. Meetings are a supportive environment to work out parenting challenges and hear from others who have “been there” (and also have a cold beverage)
There are four POMs groups within TPOMBA, with one or more volunteer leaders in each group. Myself and Oksana are your West POM group leaders and are here to offer offer moral support, practical suggestions, and access to resources. Non-members may attend POMs meetings as guests.
To contact the leader(s) of the West End POMs, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can't wait to see you!
Sarah and Oksana
