Surviving Multiples: Age 6-12 Months
Did you attend our Expectant Parents Night and found it helped prepare you for what's to come? Or maybe you missed it but your multiples are here and you have so many questions.
We're here to help you Survive Multiples!
Back by popular demand, TPOM is offering a frank and open online panel discussion for parents to kiddos aged 6-12 months. TPOM members Aaron McFarlane and Alice Zhao will share their experience raising multiples through the 6-12 month stage, and will answer any questions attendees may have.
Topics may include: Sleep, Starting Solids, Getting out and about, Baby Proofing, Heading Back to Work.
Please note that our panel speakers are not professional health care workers or service providers, but they are experts in their own right, raising multiples (and during a global pandemic no less).
We will cap attendance at 10 members (couples count as one), to allow sufficient time and space for all those interested to ask questions. Please, only register if your multiples are currently 6-12 months in age.
If time allows, we will cover as many topics as possible, however attendees will be polled in advance to determine the topics of most interest. If there is overwhelming interest, we can consider offering the same event, or a continuation of this one, again at a later date/time.
Please Register to join us on Zoom, Wednesday, January 19th from 8:00-9:30pm. Zoom link will be sent closer to the event.
Meet our Panelists:
Alice Zhao: Alice is a mom to 28m old di/di twins Samantha and Callum. A hospital social worker by day and food instagrammer by night, she loves watching her littles transform from sentient blobs to little humans with rather strong opinions. She is a serial multitasker and just a little Type A. When she is not trapped in her house by 'the pandemic', she loves travelling and trying new foods.
Aaron McFarlane: Aaron is a first-time dad to 23m old twins, Noah & Samuel. He used to lead the TSO’s education and community programs. Aaron loves cooking, making his kids giggle, and spreadsheets. Since taking parental leave, Aaron decided to return to school this past fall to become an elementary school teacher. When not working or teaching, Aaron loves playing the violin and backpacking with his partner, Lindsay (and, soon, the whole family!).
