This is the parent seminar that you have all been waiting for! TPOM is thrilled to present, Dr. John Mascazine, Ph.D., a professor in the Education Division of Ohio Dominican University, whose research specialization investigates the learning characteristics and school experiences of twins and multiple-birth siblings. He has researched and published on this topic since 1995.
Join us for an evening where we will learn how to navigate multiples in school. Focusing primarily on the first years of school, and topics including placement concerns (separate classes vs. together) and issues with young learners in school - all with a focus on the twin/triplet/quad sibling relationship. There will be an opportunity to have your questions answered so that you can prepare for the kindergarten years and beyond.
Dr. Mascazine has presented at national and international conferences, including: Multiple Births Canada National Conventions (2015, 2011), International Society for Twin Research Congress (2012), Australian Multiple Births Association, and International Congress on Twin Studies. He is currently conducting a project on the talents and motivations of twin siblings.
